Representing more than 1,400 businesses and over 300,000 employees throughout the Silicon Valley region, they are comprised of small companies and the largest employers in the valley. The SVO provides its members with the opportunity to network and connect with other valley businesses and acts as an advocate on behalf of its members. They advance a solutions-based retention, expansion, and recruitment strategy, promote and brand the region, drive education and workforce advancement, encourage philanthropy and recognize business and community leadership. The PCI Security Standards Council is a global open body formed by the five major payment card companies; American Express, Discover Financial Services, JBC international, MasterCard, and Visa. Its purpose is to manage the progression of the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard, which is a set of security requirements that govern the use, storage, and safekeeping of card member’s personal and financial data. Participating organizations may include merchants, banks, card processors, hardware and software developers, managed IT companies, and point-of-sale vendors. As part of the PCI Security Standards Council, we help our clients ensure their customers’ data is safe and secure, preventing future issues from arising.
